Become A Sponsor
Our Sponsor a Horse program supports horses currently in our care, including those preparing for adoption and those who will remain with the rescue long-term. Each sponsored horse plays an important role in furthering our mission
Horses Available for Sponsorship May Include:
Horses in Rehabilitation or Transition
These horses are receiving veterinary care, training, or rehabilitation with the goal of adoption once they are physically and emotionally ready. Sponsorships help cover medical expenses, feed, farrier care, and training during this critical period.
Permanent Sanctuary & Educational Ambassador Horses
Some horses remain with the rescue permanently due to age, medical needs, temperament, or their ability to serve as educational ambassadors. These horses play an essential role in teaching the public about rescue, rehabilitation, and responsible horse care. As calm, trusted ambassadors, they help support outreach efforts, volunteer education, and future programming.
Sponsorships for these horses help ensure they continue to receive excellent lifelong care while contributing meaningfully to our rescue’s educational mission.
What Does Sponsoring A Horse Look Like?
Sponsoring a horse provides a meaningful way to support their ongoing care while building a connection with a horse in our program. Sponsors help cover essential expenses such as feed, veterinary care, farrier services, and training, ensuring each horse receives consistent, high-quality care during their time with the rescue.
As part of the sponsorship experience, sponsors are welcome to spend time with their sponsored horse during scheduled volunteer hours. This may include grooming, gentle interaction, and offering approved treats under staff guidance. For the safety of both horses and visitors, riding is not permitted at this time. Individual horse sponsorships require a minimum monthly commitment of $50, which allows us to responsibly plan and provide for each horse’s needs. This would be a great opportunity for a child/teen who wants to learn more about how to care for horses!
